Pet Policy

Halme Holdings, LLC welcomes responsible pet owners. Pets are permitted at our rental properties subject to the following requirements.

Pet Requirements

  • No more than two pets are permitted per residence without prior written approval.
  • Dogs must weigh 50 pounds or less unless otherwise approved in writing.
  • Pit Bull-type dogs, Rottweilers, and Doberman Pinschers, including dogs that are predominantly a mix of these breeds, are not permitted as pets.
  • No pet with a known history of biting, attacking, or aggressive behavior toward people or other animals is permitted.
  • All pets must be properly licensed and vaccinated as required by applicable law.
  • Residents must keep their animals under control and promptly clean up animal waste.
  • Residents are responsible for damage caused by their pets.

Pet Fees & Pet Rent

For approved pets, the following charges apply:

  • Non-refundable pet fee: $300 per pet
  • Monthly pet rent: $25 per pet
  • Maximum: Two pets per residence

Pet fees and pet rent do not cover damage caused by a pet. Residents remain responsible for the cost of repairing any pet-related damage beyond ordinary wear and tear.

Assistance Animals

Assistance animals are not pets and are not subject to this Pet Policy.

Halme Holdings, LLC complies with applicable federal and state fair housing laws regarding reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities who require a service animal or other assistance animal, including an emotional support animal.

Pet fees, pet deposits, pet rent, and ordinary pet breed, size, or weight restrictions will not be applied to an approved assistance animal where prohibited by law.

When a disability or disability-related need for an assistance animal is not readily apparent, Halme Holdings may request information permitted by applicable fair housing law to evaluate a reasonable accommodation request.

Residents remain responsible for the care and control of their assistance animal and for damage caused by the animal to the extent permitted by law.
